AMI Beach Weddings, based on Anna Maria Island, has been named to the CO—100: America’s Top 100 Small Businesses list by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The business was selected from a pool of more than 12,500 small businesses across the country. Only 100 companies were chosen for this recognition, which highlights growth, community impact, and commitment to creating destination wedding experiences on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
In addition to being included in the top 100, AMI Beach Weddings received a special distinction as a Customer Champion. This honor is reserved for just ten businesses nationwide that excel in providing memorable customer experiences.
The CO—100 list features owners and founders representing 35 states and Washington, D.C., spanning sectors such as technology, manufacturing, creative services, and retail.
“This recognition is a reflection of why we do this work: to celebrate love, lift up local small businesses, and support our community. I’m proud of the celebrations we’ve created for couples and families, and it is humbling to see that commitment recognized on a national stage,” said Karen Riley-Love, founder and owner of AMI Beach Weddings.
Riley-Love will travel to Washington, D.C., from October 6–8 to participate in events at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s headquarters. These include the Small Business Forum and an awards dinner where ten businesses will be recognized for achievements in various categories with $2,000 prizes each. One company will be named America’s Top Small Business and receive a $25,000 award.
“We can’t wait to bring a touch of Anna Maria Island’s coastal charm to the nation’s capital,” Riley-Love added.
“Small businesses are the heartbeat of our economy, and their stories are nothing short of extraordinary,” said Jeanette Mulvey, Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of CO— by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “The CO—100 honorees exemplify what it means to lead with purpose, adapt with agility, and build with vision. These entrepreneurs and teams are not only shaping their local communities—they’re setting new standards for what’s possible in business.”
A full list of honorees can be found on the U.S. Chamber’s website.
