The Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) has endorsed Republican Terrance Freeman for the Florida House District 12 seat in the upcoming 2026 election cycle.

Brewster Bevis, President and CEO of AIF, stated, “AIF is proud to support Terrance Freeman for Florida House District 12. From his time as a professional baseball player to his time on the Jacksonville City Council, Terrance has a long track record of bringing people together behind a common cause. His professional background in workforce development for a successful electrical contracting business gives him a unique perspective we need in the Florida House to fight for Florida’s business community and continue to grow Florida’s workforce. AIF is proud to support his campaign, and we are confident he will continue to be a strong advocate for Florida’s job creators in the State House.”

Freeman expressed gratitude for the endorsement, saying, “As a husband and father of five, I know how important it is for Florida to have a thriving economy so families can achieve their version of the American Dream here in the Sunshine State. Our state has so much to offer, but we must get the government out of the way so the private sector can continue to grow, innovate, and tackle important issues. I will never apologize for helping to create a better and more prosperous economy in order to lift up my fellow Floridians. I am humbled and grateful to have AIF’s support as I embark on this journey.”

AIF describes itself as “The Voice of Florida Business” and has represented business interests before all three branches of state government since its founding in 1920. The organization is made up of businesses from various sectors with an aim to foster economic growth and welfare throughout Florida.
