The Bay Area Renaissance Festival is set to return for its 48th year in Dade City, Florida, running from February 14 through March 29, 2026. The event remains a key seasonal attraction for Pasco County and the Tampa Bay area, drawing thousands of visitors each weekend and providing an economic boost to local hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.

This year’s festival will feature seven themed weekends, each offering a unique focus such as Scottish heritage, pirate adventures, and St. Patrick’s celebrations. Attendees can explore a recreated 16th-century European village with live performances on 15 stages and more than 100 artisan vendors. The festival also includes interactive historical experiences designed for all ages.

Among the new attractions for 2026 is the Knights Ninja Challenge, an obstacle course that combines medieval themes with modern physical challenges. Guests can participate or watch as others test their strength and agility in this high-energy activity.

Buccaneer Bay is another addition this season—a pirate-themed area featuring live music, crafts for children, a dedicated bar, and ongoing entertainment throughout the day. Organizers plan to expand family-friendly activities in this section as the festival progresses.

The Wicked Wand Workshop returns with more space and immersive décor. Visitors can create custom wands using various materials and participate in a Wand Testing Ceremony for a playful magical experience.

The festival continues to support local employment opportunities and highlight regional artisans while serving as an important community tradition. Discounted tickets are available at participating Circle K locations, with additional coupons at Papa John’s outlets.
