The Florida Board of Bar Examiners has released the results of the July 2025 General Bar Examination, according to an announcement by Chair Timothy Danninger. The Supreme Court of Florida approved the release of these results.
A total of 2,152 first-time applicants sat for the full Bar Examination on July 29-30, 2025, in Tampa. Of those, 1,687 passed, resulting in a passage rate of 78.4 percent among first-time test takers.
The examination is divided into several components: Part A and Part B of the General Bar Examination and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. Some candidates only take specific parts if they have already passed other sections or are repeating portions they previously did not pass. Applicants can also transfer a valid Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) score from another jurisdiction and then only need to complete Part A of the General Bar Examination.
A detailed breakdown for those who took only part of the exam or repeated it is available at floridabarexam.org.
