Florida Chamber hosts legislative fly-in to align business community on 2026 priorities

Business leaders, policymakers, and representatives from various sectors gathered at the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Legislative Fly-In to discuss priorities for advancing the state’s economic competitiveness. The event, attended by CEOs, executives, local chambers of commerce, trade associations, and senior policymakers, offered opportunities for attendees to meet with Florida’s elected officials and hear insights from the Chamber’s leadership and partners.

Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, stated: “The Florida Chamber’s Legislative Fly-In is a unique opportunity for Florida’s business leaders to engage with policymakers and make sure our state’s economic momentum remains strong. It is also a moment to build meaningful relationships that will continue driving Florida forward towards becoming a top 10 global economy.”

Frank Walker, Executive Vice President of Government and Political Relations at the Chamber, said: “By connecting business leaders with key decision-makers, the Legislative Fly-In provides essential insight into Florida’s policy, political, and economic landscape. The two-day event included networking sessions such as a welcome reception, legislative briefings, breakfast and lunch gatherings, as well as the Bills, Beers & Business Legislative Reception. Featured speakers included Governor Ron DeSantis; Senate President Ben Albritton; House Speaker Danny Perez; Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia; Attorney General James Uthmeier; Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson; Insurance Commissioner Michael Yaworsky; Secretary J. Alex Kelly from FloridaCommerce; House Speaker-Designate Sam Garrison; House Education Committee Chair Jennifer Canady; Senate Commerce & Tourism Committee Chair Tom Leek; House Economic Infrastructure Subcommittee Chair Chip LaMarca; Representative J.J. Grow; among other officials and experts.

The Florida Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate for economic growth by uniting businesses across the state.
