The Florida Chamber of Commerce will participate in National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day on October 15, joining chambers across the United States to recognize the contributions of more than 200 local and regional chambers in the state. The event highlights the role these organizations play in supporting businesses, developing talent, advancing infrastructure projects, and advocating for policies that enhance Florida’s competitiveness.

Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, said, “Local chambers are the heartbeat of Florida’s communities. They give businesses a voice, champion entrepreneurship, and bring the Florida 2030 Blueprint to life at the local level. We’re proud to work to ensure Florida remains the best place in the world to live, work, learn, and do business with Florida’s local chamber network. As I’ve said many times, show me a strong community and I’ll show you a strong chamber.”

On October 15, the Florida Chamber plans to highlight local chambers that demonstrate leadership in workforce development, economic diversification, and community prosperity. The organization encourages businesses and partners to engage by tagging their local chamber on social media, sharing stories of success, and using hashtags such as #SupportYourLocalChamber, #FloridaChamber, and #FloridaBusiness.

The Florida Chamber of Commerce represents a large network of employers, chambers of commerce, and associations across the state. For over a century, it has worked to create economic opportunities and promote job growth in Florida. More information about the organization can be found at https://floridachamber.com.
