The Florida Education Association said on March 11 that recent actions by the Florida Legislature have negatively impacted working Floridians.

The association, which represents a large number of education professionals in the state, raised concerns about how legislative decisions may affect teachers, staff, and other workers.

According to the Florida Education Association, it is the largest association of professional employees in Florida with 120,000 members. The organization represents PreK-12 teachers, higher education faculty, educational staff professionals, students preparing to become teachers at colleges and universities, as well as retired education employees.

The statement from the association highlights ongoing concerns among educators regarding policy decisions made at the state level. The group continues to advocate for its members and seeks to ensure that their voices are heard in legislative matters.

Looking ahead, the Florida Education Association is expected to remain active in discussions about policies that impact education professionals and working families across the state.
