In recent developments within South Florida’s real estate sector, several firms have announced new leadership hires and team additions.
Fontainebleau Development has named Raj Mohan as vice president and managing director for the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura. Mohan comes to Fontainebleau from Pyramid Global Hospitality, where he served as managing director of Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa. The resort is a 485-acre property featuring two golf courses, 43 tennis courts, and a sports academy. According to the company, Mohan has previously held operations roles at hotels in Aruba, Jamaica, China, and Canada. In his new position at Fontainebleau Development, Mohan will be responsible for guest experience and expanding business opportunities.
Linkvest Capital has added Eddy Arriola, Nicolás Santos, and Juan David Perdomo to its board of directors. The Miami-based alternative investment firm is led by principal Camilo Niño. Santos is a founding partner of Ikalon in Bogotá, while Perdomo leads Vision Planning Group, also based in Bogotá.
Compass has expanded its South Florida presence by bringing on two teams. Galleria International Realty of Fort Lauderdale—a 71-agent group led by Patricia Anglero—will join Compass’s Las Olas Boulevard office. Since its founding in 2009, this team has completed over $2 billion in sales.
Additionally, Compass recruited the Andrade Group—a team of 29 agents headed by Jorge Andrade and Henny Barreto—which records $50 million in annual sales. This group will work out of Compass offices located in Coconut Grove and Winter Park and will focus on markets across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Orange counties.
Serhant also made a notable hire with agent Veronica Peters joining its Delray Beach office. Peters arrives from Premier Estate Properties after closing more than $88 million in career sales since beginning her tenure there in 2021.
