NBA player Jeff Green sold his Pinecrest mansion for $15.5 million, according to an April 8 report. Green and his wife, Stephanie, sold the seven-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom home at 9500 Southwest 61st Court, as shown in property records and the listing. The estate is about 10,400 square feet and was listed for $16.4 million with Toni Schrager of Brown Harris Stevens.

The buyer’s identity has not been disclosed but was represented by Dennis Carvajal of One Sotheby’s International Realty. TMZ reported in January that Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden toured the home while searching for luxury properties in Miami and Miami Beach.

Green purchased the non-waterfront one-acre property in 2017 through a limited liability company for $1.4 million. In 2021, he transferred ownership to himself and his wife; construction on the house finished the following year. The two-story estate features amenities such as a home theater, play rooms, gym, two laundry rooms, four-car garage, pool, summer kitchen, playground and a lighted basketball court.

Green is currently a forward for the Houston Rockets and has played with eleven NBA teams over eighteen seasons. He was part of the Denver Nuggets team that won against the Miami Heat in the 2023 NBA Finals.

Pinecrest has become popular among professional athletes including other NBA players like Dion Waiters, Jimmy Butler, Carlos Boozer, Lamar Odom and Chris “Birdman” Andersen. In recent years Tyler Herro bought a mansion there for $10.5 million while Luis Severino paid $10.7 million last summer for an estate under construction.

The neighborhood is noted as one of several South Florida areas where new luxury homes have seen increased prices and development since the pandemic.
