IAM District 142 recently held its second annual charity golf tournament at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix. The event was organized to raise funds for Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines, a charity supported by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).

The fundraiser, which is known for being competitive among IAM districts, generated proceeds through games and donated prizes. These funds will go toward training and placing service dogs with people who are visually impaired, veterans dealing with PTSD, and children with autism. All services provided by the organization are free to recipients.

Staff from Guide Dogs of America attended the event along with puppies in training. Attendees expressed their support for the cause and noted the success in raising money for these programs.
