IAM Union members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement that brings changes to wages, benefits, and working conditions. The contract was negotiated by IAM District 142 and includes wage increases for all classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay to the expiration of the previous contract, premium increases, sick time buyback provisions, and improvements in vacation accrual and other workplace policies.
“This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB,” said IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President Richie Johnsen.“This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”
The union’s negotiating team plans to work with company leadership to make sure the terms are understood and implemented.
“This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections,” said IAM District 142 President and Directing General Chair John M. Coveny, Jr. “It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers stated it remains focused on protecting its members’ rights through collective bargaining efforts.
