Experience Kissimmee announced on Apr. 17 that the Jacksonville Jaguars will play their entire 2027 National Football League season in Central Florida. The announcement was made during official events in Orlando, including a city pep rally and press conference attended by Experience Kissimmee President and CEO DT Minich and Kissimmee Sports Commission Executive Director Jessica Beers.

The move is expected to attract visitors from around the world who want to combine NFL games with vacations in Kissimmee, an area known for its vacation home accommodations and proximity to major theme parks. Local tourism officials say this creates an opportunity for families and groups traveling together to enjoy both sports and leisure activities.

“We’re elated that the Jaguars have chosen Central Florida as their home for the 2027 season,” said DT Minich, President and CEO of Experience Kissimmee. “Jacksonville has long been a priority drive market for us, and this milestone further strengthens our strategic partnership. We look forward to welcoming fans to stay in Kissimmee and cheer on the Jaguars from right here in our backyard.”

Since becoming an official partner of the team in 2023, Experience Kissimmee has worked with the Jaguars on marketing campaigns, community programs such as girls flag football, fan engagement events, and initiatives aimed at international markets like the United Kingdom. Visitors attending games will also be able to participate in features like Kissimmee’s Fan Cam.

Jessica Beers said: “Families from around the world already see Kissimmee as a premier vacation destination. Now, with the Jaguars playing in Central Florida, visitors can add an unforgettable NFL experience to their itinerary. We’re proud to help welcome fans from near and far to enjoy both the game and everything our destination has to offer.”

The partnership aligns with ongoing efforts by both organizations to reach international audiences—especially UK travelers who already visit Central Florida—and aims to build anticipation ahead of the team’s temporary relocation.
