Kimco Realty has secured several new tenants at its Dania Pointe mixed-use development in Dania Beach. The company announced that Skinny Louie, a burger restaurant occupying 1,500 square feet, is now open. In the coming weeks, Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza and Warby Parker will open locations of 2,900 square feet and 1,500 square feet respectively. Miniso, a retailer specializing in children’s toys and trendy items, plans to open a 4,700-square-foot store this summer.
Later in the year, Joe & The Juice is set to launch a 2,400-square-foot outlet. Entertainment concepts The Escape Game and Great Big Game Show are expected to share a combined 4,900-square-foot venue. Zho by Bol Hospitality will introduce a 6,700-square-foot restaurant offering Chinese cuisine with Japanese techniques by the end of the year.
Dania Pointe was developed by Kimco on a 102-acre site at 139 South Compass Way near Interstate 95 and Stirling Road. The complex features about one million square feet of retail space along with restaurants, entertainment venues, hotels, residential units, and the Spirit Airlines headquarters. Kimco Realty is headquartered in Jericho, New York and led by CEO Conor Flynn.
Grupo Eco’s Atlantic Village project in Hallandale Beach has also attracted new tenants. OakBerry will occupy a 718-square-foot space opening this month while wellness provider The Lab Vitality Club will move into a 2,300-square-foot unit this summer. These leases follow recent openings by restaurants The Wagyu House and Murano by Ferraro; Tee Box virtual golf venue is scheduled to open next month.
Grupo Eco began operations in Mexico and has been active in South Florida for over ten years. Atlantic Village spans approximately 308,800 square feet at 801 North Federal Highway.
Café chain maman signed leases for three new locations totaling about 8,500 square feet across Palm Beach County. Founded by Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte in Soho in 2014,”maman” plans to open during the third quarter at Shadowood Square (9959 Glades Road near Boca Raton), The Shops at Boca Center (5250 Town Center Circle in Boca Raton), and at Sundy Village (40 South Swinton Avenue) in downtown Delray Beach.”maman” continues its expansion across Miami’s Brickell area as well as Edgewater,Wynwood ,Coral Gables,and West Palm Beach.
Shadowood Square is owned by Edens after an $88.4 million purchase last year; Site Centers owns The Shops at Boca Center following an $85.8 million acquisition two years ago.The Delray Beach location is part of Pebb Capital’s Sundy Village project.
H&H Bagels announced it will debut its first Miami-Dade County location later this year with a shop occupying approximately 1,600 square feet at11311 South Dixie Highway,Pinecrest.Dylan Levin serves as franchisee.H&H currently operates restaurants in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach,and additional outposts are planned for Palm Beach Gardens,Wynwood,and Midtown Miami.The Pinecrest shopping plaza is owned by DPF Suniland,a subsidiary of Ares Real Estate Income Trust.
Law firm Cozen O’Connor has opened an office downtown Fort Lauderdale.Leasing space temporarily at501 East Las Olas Boulevard,the firm expects to relocate once it secures permanent premises.Erica Rutner manages the office.Macquarie Group,based out of Sydney,purchased the three-story building for $45 million two years ago.No details were provided on how much space was leased.
