Dozens of employees from Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico, along with their supporters, held rallies at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and the company’s facility in Aguadilla. The group aimed to call attention to what they described as anti-union practices by the company.

During the demonstrations, participants voiced their opposition to what they characterized as efforts to divide workers and urged the company to respect the workforce responsible for maintaining aircraft safety.

“Stop the union-busting tactics, end the efforts to divide workers, and respect the professionals who keep aircraft flying safely every day,” was the message delivered by the group.

The demonstrations are part of ongoing concerns among workers about labor practices at Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico.
