Florida Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mark Wilson recently contributed an op-ed to Florida Trend, discussing the factors that will shape Florida’s economy over the next five years. Wilson highlighted topics such as population growth, workforce development, innovation, and competitiveness as key drivers for the state’s economic outlook.

In his op-ed, Wilson referenced the Florida 2030 Blueprint, which is the Chamber’s strategic plan aimed at making Florida one of the top ten global economies by 2030. He stated, “As Florida continues to grow, leaders must stay focused on creating opportunities that strengthen our state’s competitiveness, talent pipeline, and quality of life.”

Wilson encouraged business, policy, and community leaders to participate in the upcoming Future of Florida Forum in Orlando to further discuss strategies for the state’s economic future.
