Teresa King Kinney, who has served as CEO of the Miami Association of Realtors for 33 years, will retire at the end of this year. After her retirement, she will become CEO Emeritus. Kinney began her leadership in 1993 when the association had about 5,000 members. Under her direction, membership grew to 60,000, making it the largest local realtor group in the United States. She guided the organization through significant periods including the 2008 financial crisis and changes brought by the pandemic. Kinney also oversaw the completion of a new headquarters in 2024.
Before joining Miami Realtors, Kinney was CEO of the St. Joseph Regional Association of Realtors in Missouri. Her career includes leadership positions with both the National Association of Realtors and the Florida Society of Association Executives.
The news release also announced changes at Saglo Companies. Jack Glottman will step down as CEO and become chairman. His father Saul Glottman founded Saglo nearly five decades ago, and Jack joined in 1998. Hue Chen, who has been president for ten years, will now serve as CEO and lead company operations and strategy.
Savills appointed Tom Viscount as executive managing director of industrial services for Florida. Viscount is tasked with expanding Savills’ industrial services across key counties such as Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. He previously worked as a principal at Avison Young.
Brown Harris Stevens added several new agents to its Miami offices: Lital Levy, Onur Tastan, and Ruhan Syed joined at Continuum Miami Beach; Claudia Morena, Gissette Gonzalez, and Lucia Vanegas joined at South Miami.
Weiss Law hired Mark Grafton as partner and chair of its land use practice group. Grafton comes from Shubin Law Group where he was a partner for two years and has experience advising clients on land use matters including zoning and entitlements.
