Members of District 77 in Minnesota have supported the annual Toys for Tots drive organized by Unity One Credit Union. Locals 737 and 459 each approved funding motions that provided a significant portion of this year’s contributions, resulting in more than $1,600 worth of toys being donated to local families.

Union members participated by shopping for toys and delivering them to the drive, ensuring that children in the community will receive gifts during the holiday season.

“IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli said, ‘District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays. Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.’”

“IAM Local 737 President Eric Jorgensen stated, ‘Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year. Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.’”

District 77 emphasized that giving back is an important tradition and expressed pride in helping bring joy to families during the holidays.
