The District Board of Trustees at Santa Fe College in Florida has announced its plan to amend Rule 7.23, which covers the Student Conduct Code. The proposed changes will be discussed during the board’s regular meeting scheduled for November 18, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Perry Center in Alachua.

According to the notice, the purpose of amending Rule 7.23 is “to update Rule, including applicability, hearing and appellate options, definitions and timeframes.” The rulemaking authority comes from sections FS 1006.60 and FS 1001.64(4)(8) of Florida Statutes. The law implemented includes several state statutes related to student conduct and campus safety.
