The District Board of Trustees at Santa Fe College in Florida has announced its plan to update two institutional rules: Rule 2.5, which concerns regional accreditation and substantive changes, and Rule 7.37, which addresses institutional publications, advertising, student advertising, student recruitment, and the representation of accredited status.

According to the official notice, the purpose and effect of both rule amendments are to provide updates. The legal authority for these changes is drawn from Florida Statutes sections 1001.64 and 1011.82 for Rule 2.5; for Rule 7.37, section 1001.64 is cited as the rulemaking authority.

For more information regarding these proposed amendments, interested parties can contact P. Locascio at 352-395-5170 or by email at general.counsel@sfcollege.edu.
