SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream event has been recognized as one of the top five best theme park Halloween events in the United States by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. The event was also named the number one Halloween event in Florida.

Now in its fifth year, Howl-O-Scream features a new character, Havoc, who serves as the face of this year’s festivities. Havoc is introduced through a new stunt show called Throttle, which includes motorcycles and fire effects.

To mark this recognition, SeaWorld Orlando is offering discounted tickets starting at $45.99 for select nights. Attendees can experience five haunted houses—three of which are new this year—six scare zones, four thrill rides open at night, two roaming groups of scare actors, five themed bars with specialty cocktails such as the Solar Flare Margarita, and limited-time food offerings like Spooky Teriyaki Chicken. Live entertainment will be available throughout the evening.

The event runs on select nights through November 1, 2025, from 7 p.m. to midnight at SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld operates several parks across different locations and focuses on marine life education and conservation efforts. Over its history, it has rescued more than 42,000 animals and provided funding for research projects worldwide through its conservation fund.
