A new wildlife attraction, Sloth World, is set to open on International Drive in Orlando in February 2026. The facility will be the world’s first “Slotharium,” offering visitors a guided experience inside a rainforest-style habitat where sloths live without cages or barriers.

Unlike traditional animal attractions, Sloth World allows guests to enter directly into the sloths’ environment. The animals will move freely among trees and vines in a setting designed for their comfort. The focus of the experience is conservation and education, helping guests learn about sloth behavior and the importance of habitat protection.

The 7,500-square-foot facility at 6582 International Drive will house more than 40 sloths from multiple species, including babies born on site. Tours are limited in size and led by animal science professionals called Sloth World Ambassadors. All interactions are hands-off and structured to prioritize animal welfare.

“We want guests to feel like they’ve stepped into the sloths’ world—not the other way around,” said Pete Bandre, Vice President of Sloth World. “There are no cages or barriers—you step right into their environment. It’s peaceful, natural and unlike anything else. We want every visitor to walk out with a deeper understanding of how extraordinary these animals are, why their protection matters, and how simple actions can help support sloth populations around the world.”

Sloth World will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., including holidays. Tickets cost $49, with presales already available at www.slothworld.com.

The attraction was created by owner Ben Agresta and inspired by his first sloth, Brucie. A portion of revenue will go toward supporting rescue efforts and habitat protection for sloths in countries such as Guyana, Costa Rica, and Peru.
