A new 2-acre padel club is set to open in Midtown Miami as part of a planned $2 billion mixed-use development. The Ultra Club Midtown pop-up venue, developed by Carlos Rosso’s Rosso Development and Alex Vadia’s Midtown Development, will feature 11 outdoor courts, three children’s courts, a food and beverage concept, and community programming. According to the developers’ news release, it is expected to open in December at 3055 North Miami Avenue.
The Midtown Park project is being built on nearly five acres of long-vacant land where a Walmart proposal once caused local controversy. The first phase includes the 28-story Midtown Park Residences by Proper condo tower with 288 units and 40,000 square feet of amenities. Proper Hospitality from Santa Monica is partnering on this project.
Ultra Club Midtown will operate temporarily on the vacant portion designated for the second phase of development. After completion of that phase, Ultra Padel plans to run a permanent eight-court Racquet & Padel Club at Midtown Park. Ultra Padel also manages facilities in Aventura and Little Haiti under Guillermo Barragan.
