Universal Orlando Resort announced on Apr. 17 new details about this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, marking the event’s 35th anniversary. The annual celebration is set to take place on select nights from August 28 through November 1 at Universal Studios Florida.

The announcement highlights the significance of this milestone, as Halloween Horror Nights has become known as a major attraction for fans of horror and immersive entertainment experiences. This year’s theme is the “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” which will transform the park into a carnival-inspired setting featuring haunted houses, scare zones, and entertainment inspired by past events and well-known names in horror.

A key feature of this year’s event will be the return of iconic characters Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow, who are described as legendary figures from previous editions. For the first time, these two rivals will serve together as ringmasters for Halloween Horror Nights. According to Universal Orlando Resort, “Halloween Horror Nights 35 will mark the first time that these nemeses join forces to wreak havoc amongst guests…after all – a fear divided is a fear diluted…”

One of the original haunted houses announced for this year is titled “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control.” In this attraction, guests will encounter both icons as their long-standing rivalry unfolds within an immersive environment. The story explores how chaos and control clash before Jack and Dr. Oddfellow realize they must unite to achieve their goals.

Universal Orlando also revealed that merchandise featuring Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow is now available at select retail locations in Universal Studios Florida or online at shopUniversal.com.

More information about ticket sales and additional attractions for Halloween Horror Nights will be released in coming months.
